Not all oils are created equal.

When it comes to the health benefits of oil for hair and nails, your choice should be cold-pressed oils, that is, unrefined and non-deodorized oils, known as Extra Virgin.

These oils contain the largest amount of omega 3-6 fatty acids, vitamins (A, E, K, D), carotenoids, waxes and other compounds.

However, they have one drawback - a low combustion point.

This means that when frying in such oils, carcinogens begin to form, and the oil begins to smoke, which, as you might guess, has a negative impact on health.

Oils with a high smoke point (or flash point) – from 200 °C – are an ideal choice for frying.

There is no need to worry – these oils do not smoke and do not form carcinogens when heated.
