Nutritionist explains why it is important to eat meat

Animal proteins contain important amino acids. Therefore, you should add meat, fish, eggs, seafood and dairy products to your diet.

If there is a deficit of red meat in the menu, hemoglobin may be lowered. Iron from plant products is absorbed worse.

The nutritionist recommended including legumes in the diet, which are rich in amino acids. Many useful elements can be found in peas, chickpeas, soy, quinoa, nuts.

Excellent sources of protein include buckwheat, tofu, beans, and so on.

As Kovylkina noted, it is advisable to eat at least one serving of plant protein per day.
