On hot days, you need to remember certain nutritional rules so as not to harm yourself.

Nutritionist Kristina Plotnikova spoke about this in more detail in an interview with representatives of the publication “ Lenta.ru ”.

First of all, as the doctor noted, it is important to remember about water balance to avoid dehydration. You should drink about two liters of water per day.

You can give preference to natural drinks, for example, homemade lemonades, light smoothies, and so on.

As for the products, they should be light and refreshing. For example, it would not be superfluous to include watermelons, oranges, tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, etc. in the diet.

In addition, kiwis, pineapples and pomegranates, rich in vitamin C, will also be beneficial on hot days.

You can choose salads, greens, fish and dietary meats. You should eat small portions so that the body can better absorb the food.

It is better to avoid fatty, heavy food, semi-finished products and smoked foods. You cannot drink alcohol.
