If you want to lose weight, you need to give up alcohol.

Nutritionist Dmitry Duran spoke about this.

He noted that there is a myth that only low-alcohol drinks lead to weight gain. But in fact, this is not entirely true. Strong drinks are no less harmful. It should be taken into account that the stronger the alcohol, the more calories it contains.

Safe alcohol simply does not exist.

In addition, as Duran emphasized, the body perceives alcohol as toxins and begins to fight them. As a result, there is simply no strength to fight extra pounds.

In this case, swelling appears and fluid accumulates in the body after drinking alcohol.

Alcoholic drinks also stimulate appetite. As a result, a person begins to overeat.

"Consuming alcoholic beverages is almost always accompanied by eating fatty and high-calorie foods. The more a person drinks, the worse he controls himself," Lenta.ru quotes the specialist as saying.
