Relief tiles on the walls
Relief tiles really do look very beautiful and stylish - but only when they are on a store shelf. After laying such tiles on the walls of your own bathroom, all their shortcomings become visible.
Thus, cleaning such tiles becomes a real problem, requiring a lot of time and effort. Due to the difficulty of removing dirt from all the bends and unevenness, the cleaning process can take hours. As a result, many simply refuse to clean, which can lead to the appearance of mold and deterioration of the hygienic environment.
A much more practical solution would be to use smooth tiles. It is much easier to clean them from water stains, and the smooth surface reflects more light, making the bathroom space brighter and more spacious.
Slippery floor tiles
But for covering the floor in the bathroom, on the contrary, it is better to choose relief tiles and avoid glossy and shiny ones.
This choice will be safer, since glossy tiles with water on them turn into a real skating rink. Wet feet on such a surface increase the risk of injury.
Even rugs cannot always save the situation, since they themselves slide on such a “skating rink”.
