Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told how to decorate a house for the New Year so that it looks beautiful.
First, we zone the space
It should be understood that New Year's decorations may not be appropriate everywhere.
You can safely place decorative items in the hallway and living room, and even more so in the children's room.
These can be industrial decorations, homemade wreaths made of pine needles and cones, as well as nuts, citrus fruits or candies in bright packaging.
Secondly, we choose the color
This year, designers recommend paying attention to Asian motifs, but the classic gingerbread men and deer with socks are no longer relevant.
We take into account that the next year is under the protection of the dragon. In this regard, silver and gold, red and green colors are welcome in the design.
Thirdly, lighting
But you have to be careful with garlands. In addition to the tree, blinking lights are hung on windows, walls and wherever possible.
But the main thing is not the quantity, but the color of the lights. It is advisable to keep the electrical design in one color and shades, so as not to turn the apartment into a flashing carousel.
