The thing is that half an onion will help keep other products fresh, namely avocado.

To use this life hack, you need to place a few pieces of onion in a container where there is already half an avocado.

Make sure the container with the avocado and onion is tightly sealed.

As a result, the fruit will not change its green color to black.

A must: to prevent the avocado from turning dark, you must leave the pit in it.

The reason for such unexpected metamorphoses, or rather, their absence, lies in the volatile oils contained in onions.

They have quite powerful antioxidant activity.

In this form, the fruit can be easily stored for two to four days.
