Draniki may not be the healthiest potato dish, but they are still loved by many.
There is no limit to perfection, so don’t deny yourself the pleasure of trying a new taste of potato pancakes by adding just one ingredient.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - cook, fourth-category baker told how to cook potato pancakes with mushrooms.
1. Grate the peeled potatoes and onions on a fine grater, squeeze out excess juice.
2. Add the egg, flour and salt to the prepared mixture and mix.
3. Cut the mushrooms (or champignons) into slices and fry them together with the onion in a frying pan.
4. When ready, transfer to a bowl, add sour cream, salt and spices.
5. Spoon the potato mixture onto the heated frying pan, add the mushroom filling in the center, and a little more potato dough on top, like for the sorcerers.
Fry on both sides and serve with sour cream and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
