Chopping potatoes

Many people try to reduce the cooking time of the side dish, so they chop the potatoes into two or more parts. Of course, this approach makes the taste weaker.

Therefore, do not chop the potatoes before cooking. Otherwise, the side dish will be watery.

You don't take into account the size of the potatoes

You shouldn't put potatoes of different sizes in the pan: they won't be ready at the same time. So try to choose potatoes of approximately the same size.

Large potatoes

It is better to use such potatoes for frying, stewing or making soup. If you try to boil large potatoes, there is a high risk of not cooking them completely.

In most cases, the core of the vegetable will remain raw.
