Pea soup has many fans, but it is usually not prepared very often.
And all because this process takes a lot of time from the hostess. However, the situation can be corrected if you use the advice of the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", the cook Yulia Arkhipova - she told how to speed up the process of cooking pea dishes.
In fact, there is no secret as such – after all, you will have to replace the main ingredient – split peas – with another product.
Look for pea puree in the store from cereal for soup and side dishes - right on the package it says that it does not need to be cooked.
According to the instructions, they should be added two minutes before the soup is ready.
First, add vegetables – potatoes, onions and carrots – to the prepared meat or chicken broth, and when the potatoes are almost ready, add the flakes.
Leave the pan on the heat to simmer for about three more minutes, then add the herbs and smoked bacon, and your soup is ready.
As for porridge, it is even simpler - just pour boiling water over the flakes, stir and wait five minutes. After this time, you will have ready pea porridge on the table.
