Not all the most delicious dishes are prepared in restaurants or city kitchens. Village recipes are special and expressive.
Here they don’t ask you to cook exclusively with pure extra virgin olive oil, and there is no other intrusive glamour.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to knead dough for village-style pies.
1. The butter should be soft and the milk should be warm.
2. Add a packet of yeast and sugar to warm milk and leave the mixture for 15-20 minutes.
3. Sift the flour, mix it with the melted butter and knead the mixture by hand.
4. Then add milk with yeast and sugar to the flour and knead the dough – it should not be tough.
5. When ready, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, after which you can form the pies. Enjoy your meal!
