Dried mushrooms are an irreplaceable thing in cooking, because thanks to this ingredient you can enhance the aroma of dishes, prepare amazing sauces or mushroom soups.

In addition, according to Yulia Arkhipova , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, dried mushrooms can be used in the process of preparing mushroom caviar.

But that’s not the point now – we suggest talking about how and how long this product should be stored.

First of all, it is worth mentioning that dried porcini mushrooms should be stored separately from other types of mushrooms.

This recommendation is due to the fact that the smell of boletus is very different from that of aspen and birch boletus, they produce a lighter broth.

But you can safely leave the already mentioned boletus and boletus together.

Now – about the container: the best containers for storing dried mushrooms are glass jars or paper bags. Never use plastic bags: the mushrooms will quickly become moldy in them.

Store mushroom preparations in dark and dry places, which are located at a considerable distance from heat sources - batteries, stoves, electrical appliances, etc.

Finally, remember that the shelf life of dried mushrooms is no more than one year.
