Delicious Vegetable Casserole with Cheese and Cream: Definitely Worth Trying

The squash season continues, and potatoes are confidently catching up.

The most appropriate occasion to cook a delicious casserole of potatoes and zucchini with cheese and cream. The recipe will become a favorite summer dish, as well as zucchini pancakes.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook.

You will need:

  • zucchini - 2 pcs.;
  • potatoes - 4-5 pcs.;
  • cheese - 150 g;
  • cream (33%) - 300-350 ml;
  • salt and pepper to taste;
  • a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

How to cook

1. Peel and slice the potatoes and zucchini, grate the cheese on a coarse grater, and press the garlic.

2. Mix cream, garlic, spices and some of the grated cheese.

3. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, place the vegetables in it and pour in the creamy dressing.

4. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 35-40 minutes, and a few minutes before it is ready, sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Enjoy!
