The specialist emphasizes that you can quickly cook peas using baking soda.
After 10 minutes of boiling water, add a little sodium bicarbonate to the liquid.
It is important not to overdo it: one teaspoon is enough for four liters of water.
If there is too much soda, the peas will not have the most pleasant taste.
But if the amount of sodium bicarbonate is moderate, then only a positive effect will be achieved: the peas will most likely soften in just 5 minutes.
It is possible that you will have to wait an additional couple of minutes. But still, the desired result will be achieved very quickly.
