Recipe for aromatic pickled tomatoes for the winter: lovers of spicy snacks will definitely appreciate it

Pickled tomatoes are the first to go in winter. They are always a welcome snack on the table.

There are many recipes - sweet tomatoes, in their own juice, etc. This snack will certainly be appreciated by lovers of spicy and aromatic food.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - cook, fourth-category baker told how to deliciously marinate tomatoes for the winter.

You will need:

  • tomatoes 2.5 kg;
  • bell pepper 3-4 pcs;
  • hot pepper 1-2 pcs;
  • garlic 1 large head;
  • basil, dill and parsley to taste;
  • water 1 liter;
  • salt 1 tbsp;
  • sugar 3 tbsp;
  • vinegar (9%) 2 tbsp. per liter jar.

How to cook

1. Bell peppers and hot peppers should be cleaned and passed through a meat grinder together with garlic and herbs.

2. The prepared dressing should be placed in jars – 2 tablespoons in each.

3. Place tomatoes tightly on top and pour in brine.

4. To prepare it, add salt and sugar to one liter of water and bring to a boil.

5. Cover the jars with lids and place them in a saucepan to sterilize for 10 minutes.

When ready, add vinegar and roll up the lids. Turn over and after cooling, put the blanks away for storage.
