Pasta, pizza and lasagna are popular dishes of Italian cuisine that have won the hearts of millions of people around the world.

These dishes are especially tasty immediately after preparation, whereas when reheated they often lose their appetizing taste.

Fortunately, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, told us how to properly reheat these dishes and thus preserve their taste and texture.

Paste

It is recommended to heat the pasta with sauce in the microwave, spreading it evenly over the surface of the plate. To keep the dish juicy, cover the container with a microwave lid and let the device work for 3-4 minutes at 50% power. If the pasta has a lot of sauce, it is better to heat it on the stove in a frying pan.

Pizza

This Italian dish should be heated in a dry cast iron pan – just heat the pan and put the pizza slices on its bottom. The cast iron surface will heat the dish evenly, while maintaining a crispy crust. Keep the pizza on the stove until the cheese begins to melt and the sauce is hot.

Lasagna

For lasagne, it is better to use the oven. Cover the dish with foil and heat at 160 °C. A few minutes before taking the lasagne out, remove the foil to form a crispy crust.
