What to add to minced meat to make smoked cutlets from regular ones: a familiar ingredient

Regular cutlets, no matter how tasty they are, can get boring. You can diversify your diet by preparing the same cutlets, only smoked to taste.

Smoked products can be made from minced meat, chicken, and even fish, said Yulia Arkhipova, an expert at the online publication BelNovosti.

Here are the ingredients you will need to make smoked ground meat patties:

  • 500 g minced meat (pork/beef);
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 egg yolk;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • salt, pepper and spices – to taste;
  • greens – optional.

And the secret ingredient is smoked sausage cheese, of which only 150 g is enough for 500 g of any minced meat.

All the listed ingredients should be combined and grated sausage cheese should be added to them.

Mix the minced meat thoroughly, then leave it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

All that's left is to fry the cutlets. This should be done on a moderate heat until a golden brown, appetizing crust appears on both sides.
