1. The potatoes need to be washed, peeled, and large tubers cut, but in such a way that they can be later strung onto skewers.
2. Fill the potatoes with water, add salt to taste and cook until half-cooked.
3. Then drain the water and leave the tubers to dry. Cut the onion into large rings.
4. Then in a bowl, mix salt, pepper, aromatic herbs and other spices to taste in vegetable oil.
5. Put the potatoes and onion rings in it, mix and, when the vegetables are soaked, thread them onto skewers like meat for shashlik.
