However, sometimes the required amount of meat is not available.
Few people know that you can make delicious pilaf with minced meat, says chef Yulia Arkhipova, an expert on culinary issues for the online publication BelNovosti, sharing a secret recipe.
- half a kilo of minced meat;
- one and a half cups of rice;
- a large carrot and a large onion;
- a few cloves of garlic;
- about 600 ml of water;
- spices with salt.
It is advisable to wash the rice well so that it does not stick together. Chop the onion and begin to lightly fry it. Add the chopped carrots.
We add the mince and mix. Add spices. Then add rice and water.
Then bring it to readiness under the lid. Garlic is added at the very end - peeled cloves are inserted into the pilaf.
