As the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , explained, it can be used as a “shell” for a nutritious snack.
Lavash can be used to wrap various products, such as grated cheese, cottage cheese with garlic and herbs, or leftover boiled chicken – basically, you can use anything that is in the refrigerator.
Once the filling is in place, roll the lavash into a tube and lightly fry in a frying pan until golden brown.
Alternatively, prepare an egg batter for the appetizer or arrange the lavash with the filling in a spiral on a frying pan and bake in the oven with a sour cream and egg filling.
You can also make a full-fledged layered pie from lavash.
Place the lavash layers in a baking dish, alternating with any filling: minced meat, sausage, corn, mushrooms or bacon pieces.
To make the pie more delicious, sprinkle each layer with grated cheese. This dish is cooked for about 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
