Perhaps the first thing that comes to mind for a housewife who finds minced meat in her freezer is to make cutlets from it.
But the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, has a better idea: how about serving a pie with meat filling?
Since you don't have to knead the dough, this dish is prepared quite quickly and easily, and the end result is tasty and filling.
Let's start, as usual, with a list of the necessary ingredients. To prepare a mince pie, you will need:
It seems that the hardest part is behind us – when all the components are ready, you can start assembling the pie.
First of all, prepare the filling, for which you need to fry the onion with the addition of 20 g of butter.
The mince should also be browned in a frying pan until it turns golden. Add salt, pepper, garlic and other spices to the frying pan and heat it under a closed lid for a few minutes, turning the heat on low.
When the mince has cooled, add finely chopped parsley.
Now get to preparing the filling – this shouldn’t be difficult either, since all you need to do is mix the eggs with kefir at room temperature and add salt.
Lay the sheets of filo dough on the table. Don't forget to cover them with a damp towel so that they don't dry out.
Take one sheet, cover the baking dish with it and grease it with pre-melted butter. Do the same with the next three sheets (lay them crosswise).
Now put half of the filling into the form. Moisten the filo sheets in the filling, then slightly "squeeze" them and cover the stuffing with them.
Next, the second half of the mince goes into the mold. All that remains is to cover it with the edges of the filo and grease the dough with butter.
Cut the remaining sheets to the diameter of the form and cover our pie with them. As usual, grease them with butter, and pour the rest of the filling on top.
This pie should be baked at 190 degrees for about 25-35 minutes.
Earlier we talked about how to make old potatoes tastier.
