Waffles are usually perceived as a dessert. Homemade waffles made from plain dough and without any filling are delicious on their own.
But this article is not about dessert with tea, but about a full dinner, a snack for work or on the road.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook lazy chebureki or meat waffles.
1. Peel the onion and chop finely, then put it in a bowl, add one spoon of sour cream, salt, spices and mash everything with a fork so that the vegetable releases juice.
2. When ready, season the minced meat with the onion-cream sauce and mix thoroughly.
3. Take the waffles and spread the filling over the surface and cover with another layer of cake, pressing them together tightly.
4. Mix eggs in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and salt, beat with a whisk.
5. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, dip the waffles with meat in batter and fry in vegetable oil for 4 minutes on each side.
The snack will be equally good hot or cold. Enjoy your meal!
