How to deliciously bake mackerel in wine sauce: the fish will be very aromatic and tender - a great option for a festive table

Regular and inexpensive mackerel can become a real delicacy on the table if you cook it according to this recipe.

Ingredients

  • mackerel - 2 pcs.;
  • onion - 2 pcs.;
  • tomatoes - 4 pcs.;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp;
  • dry white wine - 120 ml;
  • lemon;
  • green;
  • salt and pepper.

How to bake mackerel deliciously

Tomatoes should be soaked in boiling water for 20 minutes, then peeled and cut into small pieces. Onions should be cut into rings, and garlic should be pressed.

Then you need to fry the onion in oil. After 5 minutes, add tomatoes, salt and pepper, wine. Keep the mixture on the fire for about 15 minutes.

Part of the sauce should be evenly distributed over the baking dish. Then you need to lay out the cleaned pieces of fish and also pour them with the ready wine sauce.

The fish needs to be baked for about 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees.
