Vegetables, vegetable oil and salt... At first glance, this is all you need to prepare vinaigrette.

However, some cooks use an additive that most people would not associate with the popular salad: milk.

In addition, a small amount of granulated sugar is added to the dish.

Unexpected ingredients make the vinaigrette much more delicious.

How much milk and sugar to add

For one serving of salad, 1 tbsp of milk drink and one pinch of granulated sugar will be enough.

Thanks to milk, the dish will acquire a richer and more delicate taste.

And sugar will help to better reveal the aroma of vegetable components.

There is no need to worry that granulated sugar will ruin the dish by making it sweet: if you limit yourself to just one pinch, the sweetness will not be felt.

Important: if you decide to add milk to the vinaigrette, make sure that there is no pickled cucumber in the salad.
