It is best to cook seafood according to time. These are healthy and low-calorie foods, but due to improper cooking, squid and shrimp become rubbery.
Not everyone can master this art the first time, but you can cook seafood perfectly and tenderly without much effort.
The only important condition is not to keep it in hot water for too long, which means you need to act according to the time.
1. Bring water to a boil and place the cleaned clam in it.
2. Wait until the water boils and cook the carcass under the lid for no longer than 2 minutes.
There is another way of cooking - in cold water.
To do this, you need to place the cleaned carcass in a saucepan with cold water and put it on medium heat.
Salt is added after the water has heated up and become warm.
Wait until the water boils and remove the squid after 30 seconds.
But that's not all. The condition of the product matters.
If these are chilled seafood, then they can be boiled for 2 minutes. Whole squid carcasses are boiled for 1-2 minutes.
Mechanically cleaned squid is cooked for 1 minute.
A young specimen will cook in 1 minute, as will a carcass cut into rings.
