Ingredients for the dough

  • flour - 3 cups;
  • boiling water - 200 ml;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • sunflower oil - 3 tbsp;
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.

How to make dough for dumplings and vareniki

First, you need to sift the flour. Then you can beat an egg into the mixture. It is important that it is not fresh from the refrigerator.

The dough will be more elastic if all the ingredients are at room temperature.

Then you can mix in the remaining ingredients. Boiling water should be added last. Once the dough is well mixed, you need to leave it until it cools. Then the mass should be mixed again.

The finished dough should not stick to your hands. After this, the dough should be covered with a towel and left for 10 minutes again. Only after this time should you proceed to making pelmeni or vareniki.
