The classic version of cooking such a product assumes that the beets will spend almost two hours in the pan.

To do this, pour cold water over the vegetable and put it on the fire. No need to add salt.

The fruit must be cooked over medium heat.

As soon as the water boils, the heat should be set to minimum, and it is better to cover the pan with a lid.

In addition, it is necessary to perform manipulations that will help preserve the color. Chefs note that for this you should add a little lemon juice to the water. For each liter of water you need to take half a teaspoon of juice.

If you want to reduce the cooking time to 40-60 minutes, then you need to lower the vegetable into the already boiling liquid. At the same time, you need to add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

After 30 minutes of cooking, the vegetable must be dipped into cold water with ice. After 15 minutes, the root vegetable can be used for cooking.
