You should keep buckwheat in the pan for no more than 3 minutes to allow its aroma to develop.

After this, you can proceed to cooking.

It is important to calculate the amount of water correctly. For a glass of buckwheat you need to take 2 glasses of water.

The cereal is cooked for about 15 minutes. There is no need to stir the porridge.

You can easily check if it is ready by running a spoon along the bottom. If there is no water there, you can turn off the heat.

It is acceptable to remove the pan from the heat a few minutes earlier. In this case, the porridge should be left to sit under the lid for another 10-15 minutes so that the grains absorb the remaining liquid.
