Sometimes we all have force majeure situations, for example, when guests are already on the way and there is nothing left in your refrigerator.
To avoid having to blush in front of your close (or not so close) people, take just a few minutes of your time to prepare a simple, yet delicious sponge cake.
By the way, this same recipe will also come in handy when you want something sweet, but don’t want to stand at the stove for hours on end.
So, combine 4 eggs and 200 g of sugar in a bowl. The resulting mixture should be beaten until peaks form.
After this, add vanilla and 200 g of flour. To prevent the dough from falling, use a spatula to mix it.
The dough is ready, so you can transfer it to a baking dish and put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
When the biscuit is ready, leave it to cool, and in the meantime prepare the impregnation, for which you need to dissolve a teaspoon of honey in a glass of boiled water.
Cut the cake into 2 parts and soak it with the resulting syrup.
For the cream, you need to whip up sour cream and 50 g of sugar. All that remains is to grease the cake with sour cream, put another cake on top and also spread cream on it. Cut the pastry into pieces, and the cakes are ready.
