What foods should not be heated in a microwave oven: the "forbidden" list
The easiest way to reheat an already prepared dish is to use a microwave oven.
However, for some products, a "No Trespassing" sign must be placed on the door of the appliance.
Which of them were included in the “sanctions” list?
First of all, we are talking about eggs - due to the steam pressure inside the shell, chicken caviar can explode.
The ban also applies to crusted foods – fried potatoes, pizza, chicken wings, etc.
Nothing will happen to them, however, but the crust will become soft due to the short time spent in the microwave, and due to the long time, on the contrary, it will burn.
Also, you shouldn’t heat up fish and seafood in the oven – the food itself will dry out, and a hard-to-remove smell will settle inside the appliance.
Finally, meat and poultry (especially the "fatty" pieces) acquire a somewhat rubbery taste. Incidentally, the same can be said about heated mushrooms.
