What to put in the brine for lightly salted cucumbers: you have never eaten anything tastier

Not all lightly salted cucumbers are easy to prepare and turn out tasty.

Fortunately, this statement does not apply to the recipe that we are about to share with you.

The main “trick” of the dish is honey, which, together with garlic, herbs and spices, creates an amazingly tasty combination.

First, prepare the cucumbers by washing them, drying them and cutting off the ends on both sides. If the vegetables are large, you can cut them in half.

Now you can start making the brine.

Add 2 tablespoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of liquid honey to a liter of cold water. Stir well until all components are dissolved properly.

Place a horseradish leaf on the bottom of the jar, add 2-3 sprigs of dill and 3 bay leaves. You can add a couple of black and allspice peas.

Now place the cucumbers in the jar and fill them with brine, after which you should close the jar with a nylon or screw cap and leave it in a dark place at room temperature for 2 days.

After the specified time, move the jar with cucumbers to the refrigerator. As soon as they cool down, you can safely try them.
