Many amateur cooks are sure that there is only one way to prepare buckwheat porridge - boiling.
However, to get an appetizing side dish, it is not at all necessary to put the pan on the stove and keep the cereal in boiling water.
It turns out that you don’t even need to go near the stove.
It is enough to simply pour boiling water over the cereal and wait for a while. But the procedure has several nuances.
First, the buckwheat groats need to be rinsed with water. The liquid needs to be changed until it becomes transparent.
The purified product should be placed in a deep container and filled with water that has just come to a boil from an electric kettle (or a regular kettle).
It is important to maintain proportions: for every one volume of bulk component there should be two volumes of liquid component.
The container should be tightly closed and left for several hours. Or you can leave the future side dish overnight.
The result is a porridge that is crumbly and has a very bright taste.
In addition, cereals that have not been in constantly bubbling water will not lose their important components.
In other words, a dish prepared in the above-described way will be much healthier than buckwheat cooked in the standard way.
