Chicken liver is considered to be a very valuable product in our diet due to its rich, balanced composition.

However, due to the specific role it plays in the bird’s body, the offal may have a very specific taste.

It's about bitterness.

There are various ways to get rid of this unpleasant taste.

Can sugar help with this issue?

As it turns out, the answer to the question is yes. Sugar can really eliminate a possible bitterness, making the liver dish more balanced and refined.

However, this is not the only role of sugar.

Thanks to the presence of the component in the dish, the liver will have a wonderful crispy crust. Such a dish will look much more impressive when served.

However, do not overdo it with the introduction of sugar: if you add sweetness in large quantities, the taste will be spoiled. One small spoon per kilogram of offal will be quite enough.

It is also worth remembering that milk can protect against the appearance of an unpleasant bitter shade. The offal is soaked in the drink for 30-60 minutes.
