Pangasius can be called a universal fish that can be baked, boiled and even minced.

But more often, of course, the fillet of this fish is fried in a frying pan.

However, not all housewives know that pangasius needs to be pre-processed before being put into a hot frying pan.

There is nothing complicated about this procedure: all you need to do is fill the pangasius with a saline solution.

To prepare it, simply dissolve a teaspoon of salt in a glass of water.

The fish needs to lie in such a "bath" for about 5-7 minutes. It would seem that there is nothing complicated, but after such processing you can be sure that the fish fillet will retain its shape better.

If you are going to cook pangasius in batter made from flour and eggs, do not forget about one more important rule.

You should only place the battered fish pieces on a well-heated frying pan – otherwise you won’t get an appetizing crust and the batter will get soggy.
