Bulgur can be called a rather exotic product, which is a cereal, for the production of which wheat was treated with boiling water, dried and crushed.
Bulgur has a nutty flavor and is used in a variety of dishes such as pilaf, soups, salads and desserts.
We will hasten to introduce you to one of such recipes today.
To prepare a salad with bulgur you will need:
Boil the bulgur in lightly salted water until done, then drain in a colander.
Cut the peeled onion into thin rings and the washed mushrooms into halves or quarters.
Fry the mushrooms over low heat with the addition of oil, and after they become golden, add the onion and continue to fry for another 2-3 minutes.
In the same pan where you fried the mushrooms, fry the pepper, cut into small cubes or strips.
Combine pepper, mushrooms with onions and bulgur, add salt and pepper, then add crumbled cheese, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs, mix and enjoy. Enjoy!
