Many people expect the shashlik to be soft, aromatic and juicy, but for this to happen the meat needs to be marinated properly.
To improve the quality of the product, sometimes very interesting recipes are used.
Some people tenderize the meat with soy sauce, others add pomegranate juice or even wine. However, you can also do it in a more budget-friendly way.
If you want to cook a decent dish at minimal cost, then you should pay attention to the classic version. Chop several onions coarsely and send them to a container with meat.
Add aromatic spices, but do not add salt, so that the shashlik does not turn out dry.
Next, all that remains is to pour regular mayonnaise over the shashlik.
It is best to leave the meat in the marinade in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. Then remove the marinade with a napkin and put it on a skewer.
Add salt immediately before cooking. It is customary to take no more than one spoon of salt per kilogram of product.
To prevent the meat from becoming dry, the skewer is turned twice a minute. The meat is cooked for 15-20 minutes.
