If you are used to cooking a whole mountain of cutlets at once, which then have to be thrown away because your family didn’t finish them, this advice will definitely come in handy for you.
Instead of ruthlessly saying goodbye to spoiled products, cook a few cutlets every day to always serve a fresh dish on the table.
Of course, you shouldn’t defrost the entire kilogram of minced meat bought in the store every time for this purpose.
Here's what you need to do: immediately after purchasing, place the minced meat in a plastic bag with a zip lock.
Now carefully roll the rolling pin over the meat mixture – this way you can distribute it evenly throughout the bag.
Take a knife and use its blunt side to divide the minced meat in the bag into strips weighing between 150 and 200 grams.
At this stage, you can send the resulting product to the freezer shelf.
Thanks to this method of storage, you can easily break off one or two tiles when you need a small amount of minced meat during cooking. And such a mass will defrost much faster.
