It is believed that the easiest fish to prepare is mackerel, and at the same time it is one of the healthiest.

It is baked in the oven or a regular microwave with herbs, but more often it is salted. Here is a recipe for spicy salting of this fish, which takes only 15 minutes to prepare.

To prepare you will need:

  • mackerel - 5 carcasses;
  • 1 l of water;
  • 6 tbsp. salt;
  • 4 tbsp sugar;
  • 10 black peppercorns;
  • 10 allspice peas;
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds;
  • 7 bay leaves;
  • 2 carnation inflorescences.

How to cook

Bring the water to a boil and add salt, sugar and spices. After the brine has boiled for 3-5 minutes, remove it from the heat and let it cool.

At this time, you need to cut and clean the fish. Be sure to remove the head, tail, fins, entrails, wash the belly from bile and remove the black film.
