Many "housekeepers" prefer to have an impressive supply of food at home, including eggs.
But, having bought several dozen at once, they are afraid that the eggs might spoil.
One little trick that will not let you worry in vain is to use vegetable oil when storing eggs.
All you need to do is generously rub the eggshells with oil.
Vegetable fat will create a kind of protective barrier on the surface of the eggs, which will increase the storage time.
But you shouldn’t wash the eggs before putting them in the refrigerator – this will wash away the membrane that protects them, making it easier for pathogenic bacteria to penetrate inside the egg.
Finally, let us remind you: you should not store eggs on the side door of the refrigerator, in the compartments specially designated for them.
Instead, place the egg carton directly on the refrigerator shelf so that constant temperature changes do not affect the product.
