Perhaps it’s worth starting with the fact that a classic omelette is prepared without adding milk – it only contains eggs, water, salt and pepper.

For three eggs, just one tablespoon of water is enough. Moreover, the liquid should be at room temperature.

Again, the classic version uses only butter to fry the omelette. You can, of course, replace it with another, but the taste will change.

According to the rules, you should beat an omelette not with a mixer or even a whisk, but only with a fork, so as not to allow bubbles to form.

For a truly superior result, you can even pass the beaten egg mixture through a sieve. If there are still bubbles, let it rest for another 10 minutes.

Now about frying. When the egg mixture gets into the hot frying pan, you should start stirring it with a spatula - in a circle or drawing eights. Wait until the edges of the omelette are set, and then reduce the heat and continue cooking the dish for another 3-4 minutes. No need to cover with a lid.
