The recipe for cooking capelin in a microwave oven is one of those “as easy as pie”.
However, this is not its main advantage – with this method of cooking, you are protected from numerous splashes of fat that fly all over the kitchen if you fry fish in a frying pan.
So, if you decide to cook capelin in the microwave, for half a kilogram of fresh-frozen fish you will need:
The fish should be gutted, heads and tails removed, and then washed.
Now put the capelin into a bag and add the rest of the ingredients.
You can do it the old-fashioned way, doing everything on a plate, but when you cook in a bag, you eliminate the need to wash dishes.
Now the fish should be placed in the microwave, turning the appliance on to maximum.
If the appliance is equipped with a grill function, you can use it – this way the dish will turn out especially golden brown and appetizing.
The cooking process will take about 10-15 minutes: the exact time depends on the features of your microwave oven.
