Did you know that you can use not only potatoes but also cabbage to make potato pancakes?
Despite the replacement of the main ingredient, the dish turns out tasty, filling and looks appetizing.
So, for cabbage pancakes you will need:
The cabbage should be finely chopped and poured with boiling water for 10 minutes. If the vegetable is particularly hard, leave it in the water for half an hour.
After the specified time, drain the cabbage in a colander, then combine with finely chopped onions and herbs (the onions should first be fried in a frying pan until golden brown).
When the mixture has cooled slightly, add salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and combine them with the cooled cabbage mixture.
All that remains is to add the baking soda dissolved in sour cream and, at the very end, the flour, and the dough for the potato pancakes is ready.
Fry the pancakes on both sides in a hot frying pan greased with vegetable oil.
