What to Cook for Breakfast: Quick Pan Baked Recipe

Curd squares are a great alternative to the tasty but already rather boring syrniki.

The list of ingredients for preparing this breakfast, although quite impressive, consists of products that are likely to be found in the refrigerator of any housewife.

See for yourself:

  • 300 g flour;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 100 g cottage cheese;
  • 50 g sugar;
  • 80 ml kefir;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 20 ml vegetable oil.

Break the eggs into a deep bowl and add sugar. Beat the egg-sugar mixture thoroughly.

Pour kefir and butter here, add cottage cheese and mix everything thoroughly.

Add baking powder to the flour, mix and sift into the curd mass together with salt.

All that remains is to knead the dough, which comes out soft and elastic and does not stick to your hands.

Roll out the dough into a thick rectangular layer and cut into squares – you should get about 20 servings.

Fry the curd squares over medium heat in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil until they acquire a beautiful golden hue.
