Many cooks, when preparing various dishes, use refined, that is, purified, oils, which cannot boast a bright taste and rich aroma.
However, there is a way that will help you enrich the taste of even such a product.
To do this, for 200 ml of refined sunflower oil you need to take:
Cut the onion into small cubes, chop the garlic, and dry the washed dill from the water and chop finely.
When everything is ready, pour the oil into a thick-bottomed frying pan, after which you can put the dishes on the fire.
When the pan is hot enough, throw in the onion and, stirring constantly, lightly fry it. After that, remove the oil from the stove and immediately fish out the onion.
Now you can add garlic, zest, chilli flakes and dill.
Turn the heat back down to low and cook the contents of the pan, stirring vigorously, for about 3 minutes.
Extinguish the flame for 15 minutes, then turn the stove back on to minimum power and, stirring, cook for another 1 minute.
Now you can safely remove the pan and, after waiting for the oil to cool, strain it through a fine sieve.
