Recipe for lightly salted cucumbers

To prepare cucumbers, you will need: cucumbers themselves, dill, garlic, salt, water, peppercorns, spices and herbs to taste.

Place greens and garlic on the bottom of a container, which can be a jar. Choose undamaged cloves and about 9 pieces.

Cucumbers - 1.5-1.8 kg per 2-2.5 liters of water must be prepared in advance: select the same size, rinse thoroughly under running water to remove small adhering dirt and dry, laying out on a clean napkin.

When the cucumbers are ready, you can proceed to the next stage - laying. From greens you can use horseradish, walnut or oak leaves, and for aroma - dill umbrellas, tarragon.

To speed up the process, cucumbers can be cut into two parts or slices, pierced with a knitting needle. Put cucumbers, 8-9 peppercorns in a jar, cover with the remaining spice leaves, pour in the prepared hot brine, cover the jar with a lid and leave for 24 or 72 hours.
