Zazharka is the main ingredient of red borscht.
To prepare it, wash the vegetables and peel them. Grate the root vegetables and cut the pepper into strips. Cut the onion into half rings.
Peel the tomatoes and cut into 4 pieces.
In a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the onion, then the carrot. When it turns golden, add the beetroot. After 5 minutes, add the tomatoes. When ready, add sugar, vinegar, salt and black pepper and fry the mixture for 5-7 minutes.
Finally, add the sweet pepper, broth, sauté for 7 minutes, add the butter and, after it has melted, turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let the frying sit for 10 minutes.
