Lard is a popular snack, but to truly enjoy the food, the product must be soft.
Lard does not always melt in your mouth: due to an unverified recipe or a low-quality product, the snack may turn out tough.
It is problematic to eat such lard. Some housewives in such cases do it in a simple way: they put the product in a meat grinder and use it as a spread for sandwiches. This is a good method, but there is another method that will allow the lard to return to its quality.
First, the lard needs to be prepared by cleaning it from the salt layer using water. Then we cut the product into portions, distribute the garlic evenly and add spices.
Next, take a bowl with a small amount of water (about 100 ml), add a little bay leaf and add the lard.
Then we use the lid.
The product needs to be heated in a microwave oven at high power for three minutes. After that, drain the liquid and put the lard back in the microwave for a couple of minutes.
The product will become tasty and soft again.
