Children, as a rule, perceive the forest as something mysterious and magical, while adults should understand that forest walks with a child require compliance with a number of rules.
Therefore, before you go mushroom picking in the forest with your child, have a conversation with him in which you need to touch on the following topics.
The child should know which mushrooms can be put in the basket and which ones should not be touched. Show examples of poisonous mushrooms and explain that it is better not to touch unfamiliar gifts of the forest.
It's not just mushrooms that can be dangerous: make your child understand that there are berries that can't be eaten. Your child should know for sure: you can only try berries in the forest after an adult gives you permission to do so.
Tell your little one that when picking mushrooms, the root system must not be damaged. Show them how to cut mushrooms correctly and explain that they must not be pulled out of the ground.
At any age, children should know that in the forest they must not break trees, destroy anthills, or leave trash behind.
There are many things in the forest that you can trip over and fall over: branches, stumps, tree roots, etc. Therefore, you should always watch your step and not run through the forest.
The child should always be nearby. This rule cannot be neglected if you do not want the baby to get lost in the forest or get into other trouble.
