Many parents are afraid to refuse their children.

And this is very bad. If you indulge all the whims of the child, then the baby will become self-confident, arrogant, shameless and too demanding.

That's why sometimes mom and dad have to say "no" to their child.

At first glance, this is very difficult. After all, refusal, it would seem, will certainly upset or anger the child.

But know this: if you refuse your son or daughter correctly, there will be no unpleasant consequences. The child will understand everything.

How should parents say "no" to their child? There are three important rules.

We need to be firm

Speak clearly and confidently. No baby talk or mumbling!

Your face should be serious.

And don't change your mind after a few minutes: "No means no."

The child must understand the following: the ban is “real”, it is not a joke or a “game”.

The reason for the refusal must be explained.

Explain to your child why you said no.

Provide convincing arguments: the child must understand that the ban was introduced for a reason.

You mustn't raise your voice

When telling your child “no” or “don’t do that,” never yell at the baby!

Keep yourself in hand, stay calm.

Raising your voice certainly won't help you make your child more obedient.
