Every child can stumble and fall.
The task of parents in such a situation is not to harm their own child.
In no case should you scold the baby or accuse him of clumsiness.
Turning what happened into a tragedy and shouting “Ouch!” is also not worth it.
It is better to calmly ask one simple question. In this case, the child will immediately calm down and will not feel guilty or awkward.
The question should be simple, clear and leading.
The ideal option sounds like this: “Are you in pain or are you scared?”
Having heard this from mom and dad, the baby will easily sort out his emotions and immediately tell whether the fall led to any injury.
If there are no painful sensations, the child will immediately conclude: "Nothing terrible happened. My parents do not judge me, do not laugh at me, and remain calm."
If your baby needs some help, then help him, but do it without expressing strong emotions.
